Proposed Analysis: | A data is planned to be used in a larger research project on MRI-based markers for Alzhimer's disease. Three main types of markers are to be developed that quantify information from cortical structures: 1) Volume change be analyzing the deformation field from longitudinal registration 2) Statistical shape modeling. Both cross-sectional and longitudinal delvelopment 3) Texture. Both cross-sectional and longitudinal development The markers will be developed and evaluated in their own right and later combined, and will all be benchmarked against existing image-based markers in the field. There will be focus on both the methodological aspects underlying the different marker types as well as on the clinical application. |

Proposed Analysis: | The data is used in a larger research project on MRI-based markers for Alzhimer's disease. Four main types of markers are being developed: 1) Static hippocampal volume from atlas-based segmentation 2) Volume change in different cortical structures by analyzing the deformation field from longitudinal registration 3) Statistical hippocampal shape modeling. 4) Texture in different cortical structures. The markers will be developed and evaluated in their own right and later combined, and will all be benchmarked against existing image-based markers in the field. There will be focus on both the methodological aspects underlying the different marker types as well as on the clinical application. |
