Proposed Analysis: | In 2014, Suk & Shen and Li et al. implemented auto-encoder techniques for recognition of Alzheimer’s disease from mild cognitive impairment. In 2016, Morabito & Ebadi implemented CNN with Scalp EEG recordings. These research shows potential of utilising deep learning architectures, particularly CNN, for AD/MCI diagnosis in place of manual analysis. I propose the analysis of ADNI images, which has significantly more biomarkers than EGG recordings, with CNN architectures for automated detection of Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment & its subtypes. |
