| Proposed Analysis: | With the data in Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative data, I will develop machine learning techniques that aim to automatically stratify the severity of the disease. Specifically, the envisioned technique will not only make predictions based on neuroimage, but also help medical experts understand why the prediction is as such by highlighting regions that the algorithm deems indicative, uncertain, and non-informative. Additionally, medical experts will be provided opportunities to provide detailed supervisions by confirming or rejecting the regions, and improve the learning algorithm. |
