Proposed Analysis: Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common form of age-related dementia and one of the most serious health problems in the industrialized world. Identifying appropriate population for early intervention and prevention is a major research focus for AD. The area that has received the most attention is secondary intervention strategies targeting the pre-AD state of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) though minimal success has been achieved to date, because of the lack of reliable risk assessment method to predict which MCI patient are likely to convert to AD. The current proposal is designed to develop a comprehensive risk prediction model for MCI patient conversion to AD by integrating the blood protein biomarkers, genetic, brain imaging and clinical lab and data from the ADNI study.
