| Proposed Analysis: | Extending our previous work (Liem et al., 2017, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27890805), we want to investigate how incorporating multiple brain-imaging modalities might make prediction of cognitive decline and disease progression more accurate. Hence, we will use the available data to extract metrics of cortical and subcortical anatomy, and structural and functional connectivity in addition to PET-based metrics and clinical data at baseline to predict cognitive outcome metrics. In order to ensure that our predictive models generalize well to different data sets we aim for i) a large sample size and ii) heterogenous data from different sources. Therefore, we plan to, amongst others, combine data from ADNI projects and AIBL. |
