Proposed Analysis: | We had previously used the shared FDG-PET data from ADNI (through PI, Dr. Benjamin Franc) about 2000 cases from approximately 1000 subjects with their clinical outcomes data over all the years since the data were taken. From that dataset, our group ran a deep neural network algorithm to classify subjects who later were diagnosed with Alzheimer's versus those who were not. The prediction power using this deep learning technique was incredible. Now, we hope to get any other PET data (florbetapir and flortaucipir particularly) for these subjects and any others who received these PET imaging studies, and followed by ADNI about the final diagnosis of Alzheimer's. |
