| Proposed Analysis: | I seek individual question level (subitem questions) data for the full NPI (not NPI-Q) for single visits for 1) cognitively normal subjects who either were followed and shown to subsequently develop biomarker-verified AD, 2) were cognitively normal but had biomarkers (amyloid PET or CSF) consistent with AD, 3) were impaired but did not meet criteria for dementia who had biomarkers consistent with AD, or 3) had clinical dementia due to AD verified by biomarkers. Using this data we intend on comparing the behavioral manifestations of preclinical and manifestlate-onset AD (LOAD) to our own UCLA/USC database of persons with or destined to develop autosomal dominant AD (ADAD) due to mutations in PSEN1, APP, or PSEN2. Regarding the IRB number, below I have put in the IRB number of our own study in which our ADAD data were acquired and are stored. It is not clear to me if additional IRB approval is required to receive and use the de-identified NPI data from ADNI. |
