Proposed Analysis: | We aim to investigate possible correlations between neuropsychological tests and AD risk factors, with a view to assess the extent to which these tests can be useful in predicting dementia onset. We are particularly interested in early behavioural manifestations of AD in speech and language, so we intend to employ machine learning methods to identify dimensions of these aspects in the cognitive tests and clinical data with respect to risk and time to onset scores (to be estimated based on family history, genetics and biomarkers). |

Investigator's Name: | Farah FIRDAUS FRANCIS |
Proposed Analysis: | Study variability of white matter pathways in AD, with focus on hippocampus connectivity, using automated tractography and machine learning approaches. |
Investigator's Name: | Onyeka Obuaya |
Proposed Analysis: | Analyse potential multivariable surrogate outcomes for AD. This will be done using established statistical methods such as those based on information theory. The established methodology for multivariate surrogates in RCTs will be adapted for the use of AD surrogates and novel methodologies will be explored |
