| Proposed Analysis: | My project is 'Does sex influence the association between ApoE ε4 genotype and brain tau deposition in preclinical AD individuals'. We need collect preprocessed 18F-AV-1451 PET images, T1-weighted structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, and demographic information from cognitively normal elderly controls and MCI subjects in ADNI database. Then partial volume correction will be applied on PET images. Structural MRIs will be used for PET spatial normalization. Regions of interest (ROI) were defined in standard space, and standardized uptake value ratio (SUVR) images were computed. We will do statistical analysis to detect significant results to support our hypothesis. I believe the significant reslus will improve our understanding in preclinical AD. |
