| Proposed Analysis: | Continue analyzing the role of the ACC and aging by looking for statistical variations in PET scans from cognitive normals and dementia subjects at varying ages. Wish to continue adding new subjects from ADNI as well as follow subjects that continue to volunteer and note those that change from cognitive normal to levels of dementia. |

| Proposed Analysis: | We will continue our analyses of anterior cingulate cortical (ACC) function in the context of executive function and memory in those with and without amyloid. ACC amyloid and metabolism will be correlated with age and cognitive function. The effect of vascular disease on ACC aging will be evaluated with respect to WMH in 3D FLAIR images. Findings from ADNI will be compared to those from the HCP to evaluate difference in sample characteristics. Funtional connectivity with ACC and age will be measured. |
