| Proposed Analysis: | We are developing a method for identifying local brain disturbances using functional connectivity data. The idea is to look at overall connectivity matrix of a subject and identify the specific nodes impaired, using a model that takes into account the effect of an impairment in each node on the overall connectivity structure. We wish to use the ADNI functional connectivity data as a dataset where we know that brain disturbances are widespread, and contrast this with clinical situations where the connectivity arises from a specific localized brain damage, e.g. stroke.
