| Proposed Analysis: | I am currently working at Prof. Qi Long's group in department of biostatistics, UPenn. I wish to use ADNI data for experiment to test the performance of PCS, an algorithm we proposed for feature selection and prediction. We limit our scope on high-dimensional sparse regression problem, where we need to select some important features out of the whole feature set. I will compare the prediction mean square error for PCS and other popular methods such as lasso, ridge and elastic net. I do believe ADNI data wold be an ideal choice for me to take the experiment on. Hopefully I will be able to get access to the data. |
