| Proposed Analysis: | The ADNI data will be used to create machine learning models of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) progression. Exploratory data analysis and data processing will be applied to the ADNI data to extract variables suitable for machine learning that cover demographic information, cognitive and functional assessments, laboratory tests such as biomarkers, and imaging data. Measurements for subjects in ADNI for these variables will form a dataset that will be used to train statistical models using machine learning algorithms that are capable of simulating disease progression for individual subjects. The goal of these models is to be able to provide probabilistic predictions of the future clinical state of AD patients. |
