Proposed Analysis: | We are working on two different yet coherently linked projects utilizing large scale biomedical data. On the one hand, we will develop new computational algorithms and tools to integrate multi-modal data (including omics, imaging, biomarkers) to construct powerful and robust predictive models in complicated diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. On the other hand, we will develop novel methods to provide secure and privacy preserving methods for sharing multi-model biomedical data and predictive models. Using the ADNI dataset as a use case, we have three specific objectives in the proposed project: 1) advance biomedical data analytics by providing a new set of tools for data integration, prediction, and privacy conservation; 2) advance disease studies by providing new insights in disease progression and prognosis using new analytics, and 3) promote sharing of biomedical data and models. |
