Proposed Analysis: We proposed the new method for early prediction of Alzheimer's disease using longitudinal multimodal dataset (such as, longitudinal biomarkers and neuroimages). The proposed method combines popular deep generative model and longitudinal statistical model. The deep generative model could extract embedded features from neuroimages related to disease progression, and the longitudinal statistical model predict the future disease status based on the embedded features and historical longitudinal biomarkers. We anticipate that our method could contribute to improving Alzheimer's disease early prediction.
