| Proposed Analysis: | Evidence shows atherosclerosis leads to cognitive decline later in life, studies have also shown APOE polymorphisms may have differing effects on cognitive decline, I seek to investigate whether signs of cardiovascular risk factors, independent of atherosclerosis but in the presence of APOE e4, leads to more rapid cognitive decline in older adults. Additionally, I believe amyloid PET status to moderate the relationship between APOE genotype and cognition |
