Proposed Analysis: | The goal is to build an interpretable brain MRI based Alzheimer’s disease classification system using novelty deep learning algorithm. Convolution neural networks will learn from a series of input and the input will be passed through a network (model) which will yield the maximum of soft-max probabilities as output in the output layer. The network will constitute of multiple network layers such as Convolution layer, pooling layer and fully-connected layer. The network layers will be self-adjusting until the data is appropriately fit. All the computations will be performed on GPUs available at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Since the data needs to be trained and tested, obtaining an appropriate dataset is a mandatory, ADNI meets the requirements for the concerned dataset. |
