| Proposed Analysis: | Project Name: Identification of Early Biomarkers for Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) Specific Information: This will proceed in two stages. First we will use machine learning techniques to identify biomarkers, such as somatic mutations in blood, which are highly correlated with the onset of AD. The top such markers, say two of them, will then be tracked. Our hypothesis is that these two markers will be able to detect the early onset of AD in presymptomatic subjects. We track presymptomatic subjects who eventually develop AD to test our hypothesis. |
