Proposed Analysis: | The healthcare domain in developing countries like India has started utilizing latest emerging technologies such as mobile computing and cloud computing. Large volume of data is collected, stored, processed and retrieved in digital format called Electronic Health Records (EHRs). Patient healthcare records are also called Medical Healthcare Records (MHRs). In the new era medical images are produced from a variety of imaging equipment, such as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT), etc. CT can clearly reflect the anatomical structure of bone tissues. SPECT can highlight the lesion of tissues and organs to provide information about blood flow and temperature of body parts. PET scanning can show blood flow, oxygen and glucose metabolism in the tissues of the brain. MRI can clearly reflect the anatomical structure of soft tissues, organs and blood vessels. These medical images can also be saved in a digital format. There is a requirement of patient records during every visit to the hospital as it involves and improves the quality of treatment. |
