| Proposed Analysis: | To whom it may concern, I am writing to apply for the access to the ADNI dataset. I completed my first master degree in Clinical Neuropsychiatry, which I specialized in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. I am currently pursuing my second master degree in Data Science, and for my master thesis, I would like to research into the use of deep learning models (eg: convolutional neural network) to analyze the MRI images to identify the patterns of the progressive pathological change from the images. The result of this research can enhance the current understating of the progression of disease, and can be potentially used for early diagnostic purposes. |
