Proposed Analysis: Aim of analysis is to predict whether a person will develop Alzheimer's disease based on fMRI data scans with the help of gauge-invariant convolutional neural networks. Our aim is to use fMRI scan data and inflate a brain's hemisphere into a sphere in FreeSurfer for the purpose of applying a gauge-invariant neural network capable of analyzing the surface area of the sphere. The main benefit of this would be the ability to make a quick diagnosis of whether a patient will develop Alzheimer's disease solely from an fMRI scan and attach a likelihood to said diagnosis.
