Proposed Analysis: Vascular risk factors have been suggested to be associated with cognitive decline and an increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Nevertheless, the mechanisms through which such risk factors exert their disease-relevant effects remain to be elucidated. Brain imaging is increasingly used to measure AD-associated changes in vivo. Several studies have been conducted to evaluate the impact of therapy for each single vascular risk factor on the progression of cognitive impairment, however, results were controversial. The aggregative effects of different vascular risk factors better explain the impact of vascular components on cognitive decline. The Framingham Heart Study general cardiovascular disease (FHS-CVD) risk profile is a composite measure of general cardiovascular risk, which represents a quantifiable expression of all factors acting on functional and anatomical alterations of macro- and micro-vessels. We hypothesized that FHS-CVD risk may modulate default mode network functional connectivity in cognitively normal controls,MCI patients and demented elderly. So, we need data from participants mentioned above, including FHS-CVD risk, Demographic and neuropsychological data,APOE4 genotype,T1-weighted anatomical images, bold-functional images, FLAIR images for further analysis.
