Proposed Analysis: | We plan to replicate the variational autoencoder procedure described in Choi et al 2019 and expand its application to other neurodegenerative diseases. We plan to use ADNI healthy control PET data to train and test a variational autoencoder that can differentiate healthy controls from various neurodegenerative diseases via a subject score, and produces an image representation of the metabolic differences from normal. |
