| Proposed Analysis: | We have identified 30 hereditary fusion genes and epigenetic fusion genes from RNA-seq data of AD patients. We want to validate these fusion genes by RT-PCR and real-time quantitative RT-PCR. We will identify genomic breakpoints and investigate genomic structural variants to generate hereditary fusion genes. We will perform RT-PCR genotyping of 14 AD patients and 14 controls to study these fusion gene frequencies in AD and controls |
