Proposed Analysis: | Previous studies suggest that metabolic syndrome (MetS) may be predictive of dementia, espcially vascular dementia. In this analysis, we aim to develop MetS-based risk prediction model for dementia to maximize the predicability of MetS and its components. Primay analyses include 1) analyze the longitudinal change in MetS and its components; 2) analyze the relationship between changing MetS symptom score (and individual components) and dementia risks; 3) develop prediction model for dementia based on a combination of existing MetS and worsening MetS. |
