Proposed Analysis: | I am currently working on my master's thesis where I am developing an algorithm to calculate hippocampal and parietal lobe volumes in dementia patients. I am using data from the Cambridge memory clinic (MRI T1s and high-resolution T2s) to develop, using deep learning (3D UNET), a program which could automatically segment those regions accurately. I will use the ADNI data partly to train the algorithm and validate it. I currently have 106 participants and acquiring ADNI data would be extremely helpful to train a more robust algorithm. |
