| Proposed Analysis: | The goal of my project is to investigate the effects of treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs on the progression of brain anatomical changes in patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD). Using ADNI data, I will test for differences in brain morphometry between AD patients who have had chronic NSAID treatment, and AD patients who have not. The results of this investigation will be compared against pre-clinical imaging study conducted in my lab in which we studied neuroanatomical changes longitudinally in a rat model of AD both with and without NSAID treatment. |
