Proposed Analysis: Apply our proposed statistical method to identify causal genes for Alzheimer's Disease using Mendelian Randomization framework. We plan to use eQTL as instrumental variables, gene expression as exposure variables and AD status as outcome variable. The main purpose is to test if our proposed statistical model can provide a more accurate estimation of causal effect of known candidate genes on AD incidence.
