| Proposed Analysis: | Hello! I am an undergraduate student at BYU-I, studying Software Engineering with an emphasis in Biomedical Science. I'm currently in a senior-level Machine Learning course which has designated a 6-week final project using real world data and making real world predictions. I would be absolutely ecstatic to have the opportunity to use ADNI data. With the data, I would create a Convolutional Neural Network to predict how likely a healthy adult is to develop Alzheimer's disease in the next five years. Data collected from this research would not be published, sold, or transcribed in any other way - other than being shown to my professor at the end of the semester. I don't have IRB approval since I won't be conducting research on any human subjects myself. Thank you for your time. |
