Proposed Analysis: | Volume under receiver operating characteristic (ROC) surface (VUS) is a common measure to evaluate the ability of a diagnostic test of biomarker to classify three categories of disease. Recently, there exist several researches for estimating the VUS in various situations of study design. However, most of them did not consider the effects of covariates (e.g., age, gender) to the VUS. In this work, I propose a method to estimate the covariate-specific VUS. Especially, I consider the effect of age and gender to the VUS of some biomarkers which used to detect Alzheimer's disease. |
