Proposed Analysis: The aim is to create an event-based model of Alzheimer's disease progression using Python code, incorporating multiple modalities such as degree of brain atrophy and cognitive scores. The model will then be used in a pilot study to classify patients into their event stages. Overall, the event-based model is a probabilistic, generative model. Specifically, the model will be used to determine the sequence of biomarker abnormalities occurring in the disease. Also, the model can also be used to predict which events become abnormal first.
