Proposed Analysis: | We aimed to replicate our findings in the Religious Orders Study (ROS) or the Rush Memory and Aging Project (MAP) where we have identified that (1) the hippocampal volume measured by MRI is associated with changes in the blood transcriptomes and metabolomes; (2) a pTAU-related brain epigenomic feature may activate microglia and attenuate APOE ε4 risk effects on Alzheimer's disease (AD). We have found that such brain epigenomic feature is associated with the blood transciptomes and we are trying to check the connection of this epigenomic feature to the PET tracers for the distribution of TAU (18F-MK-6240) in the Washington Heights-Inwood Community Aging Project (WHICAP). We will access the data of (1) whole genome sequencing; (2) blood transcriptomic gene expressions; (3) blood DNA methylation profiles; (4) MRI measurements; (5) PET measurements; (6) blood metabolomic profiles; and (7) phenotypes of clinical diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and other population graphical variables. |
