| Proposed Analysis: | Using statistical methodology developed by my coauthors and I, we hope to model the progression of Alzheimer's disease (AD) using a novel trace-ordinal regression model. This model treats both fMRI data and genetic data (SNP genotypes) as predictors. By adapting approaches originally developed for combining multiple types of -omic data, we believe our method will lead to improved prediction accuracy and identification of prognostic markers relative to the existing methods. We are requesting access to the ADNI-1 data referred to in, for example, Section 5 of Nathoo et al. (2019, https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/cjs.11487). |
