| Proposed Analysis: | An examination of specific regions of the medial temporal lobe (mainly the entorhinal area) to test a novel hypothesis relating to the development of neurodegeneration. If the expected trends exist, the data will then be tested for possible links to neuropathology, more specifically Alzheimer’s Disease. I am a undergraduate researcher from Vassar College investigating under the direction of Jean Augustinack at the Laboratory for Computational Neuroimaging located in the Martinos Center for Biomedical imaging. Given the unprecedented circumstances of the current global pandemic, the ADNI set would be invaluable for allowing me to test the novel hypothesis mentioned above and run data analyses remotely. |
