Proposed Analysis: | Alzheimer's disease (AD) afflicts an estimated 24 million people in the world, with an expected increase to over 80 million people by the year 2040. However, this disease is usually diagnosed based on a person’s medical history or behavioral observations. We would like to establish a predictive model for Alzheimer’s disease by using features extracted from the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and clinical data in ADNI. The purpose of the predictive model is to diagnose Alzheimer's disease as soon as possible, therefore patients could be detected, prevented, and treated in advance. |
