| Proposed Analysis: | Neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease has a strong genetic component. However, few causal biomarker has been identified and the no treatment is available to reverse the deterioration of the disease. Nevertheless, the disease progression might have been started 20-30 years before onset. Therefore, early screening of the disease will be helpful for executing timely intervention, health management and family planning. In this study, we aim to utilize omics data collected involving genomic, image and clinical variables, to develop an integrative algorithm for early screening of neurodegenerative disorders; and to characteristic the genetic profile of neuro-degenerative disorders in whole genome sequencing data set. |
