Proposed Analysis: | Dear Sir or Madam, I am currently pursuing my master degree in Computer Science at the universoty of Bonn and I am about to start my thesis with the Fraunhofer-Institut SCAI. My supervisor for the thesis is Prof. Dr. Holger Fröhlich. In the thesis, I will further analyse a method called 'MultiNODE' (Multi Neural ODE) created by one of the PhD students of Fraunhofer SCAI. The goal is to generate new realistic patient data for patients with neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson's disease or Alzheimer's disease. The model in his thesis was trained with PPMI data and its results were compared with another method 'VAMBN'. Since MultiNODE did better than VAMBN, I will do more comparisons with other methods to check if it is a new powerful method to create more synthetic patients for research (using data to predict the disease or for individual treatments). I will also do the same progress for the Alzheimer's disease. Therefore, to be able to train the MultiNODE and compare it to other methods with respect to the Alzheimer's disease, I need the data to do so. Please contact me if you have any questions. Best regards, Cindy Ku |
