Principal Investigator's Name: | Mackenzie Smith |
Institution: | Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (University at Buffalo) |
Department: | Buffalo Neuroimaging Analysis Center |
Country: | |
Proposed Analysis: | We will integrate images from this database (e.g. MRIs, PETs) into a platform for clinical and research imaging and analysis. The images will provide both aggregate norms and individualized matched norms for key imaging metrics through appropriate statistical analyses and measures of brain atrophy, which will be dependent on the type of image undergoing analysis. This will provide the platform with baseline healthy and disease data for comparison with data from future collaborators. |

Proposed Analysis: | We will integrate the provided images (e.g. MRIs, PETs) into a platform for sharing imaging sequences, protocols, and analyses between clinicians and researchers. The images will undergo the appropriate statistical analyses and measures of brain atrophy depending on the type of image in question (e.g. T2 MRIs will undergo T2 lesion analysis), and this data will provide us with baseline healthy and disease data for future collaborators to use as a comparison against images they wish to analyze. |
