Proposed Analysis: | We plan to do a project on "signatures of neurodegeneration in dynamical functional connectivity". In the subfield of functional brain connectomics, while most of the resting-state fMRI studies are focused on a static view of functional connectivity, there is an increasing interest in examining (short time) dynamical functional connectivity (dFC) . Resting-state dFC are particularly interesting because one can assess the spontaneous presence and recurrence of different “cognitive modes” or “brain states” across time. We hypothesize that neurodegeneration signals can be identified as an impact in this reconfiguration capacity, and that it will significantly differ from healthy individuals. So, we apply for the access to ADNI data for our project. |
