Proposed Analysis: Dementia and other cognitive diseases are a big problem in the current society. One of the most common forms of dementia is Alzheimer’s Disease. A lesser form of dementia called Mild Cognitive Impairment often transistions into full Alzheimer’s. It is hard for humans to correctly diagnose early forms of Alzheimer’s and especially hard to differentiate between them. In this paper the possibilities of classifying human MRI scans using convolutional networks are explored. The classification is on three classes Mild Cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s Disease and clinically normal. Finally a working model is presented using 3D convolutional layers that has good performance on the three classes
