| Proposed Analysis: | I'm a graduate student working with Duygu Tosun-Turgut and I'm hoping to correlate gold-standard Alzheimer's disease biomarkers (PET-based and CSF-based) with plasma biomarkers. I want to look into the efficiency of plasma biomarkers for AD diagnosis as well as their effectiveness at predicting cognitive decline and disease progression. As plasma is likely less specific than the current gold-standards, this analysis primarily aims to hopefully help identify more extreme cases of AD by way of using plasma that will allow us to more quickly screen patients in the future. |
