Proposed Analysis: The goal of this project is to use Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) datasets to detect AD at the earliest stages (pre-dementia) and identify ways to track the diseases progression of cognitive decline from early to late stages . The question to be answered is, can AD data sets be used to detect AD at the earliest possible stages and identify ways to track the rate of disease progression. Currently, the progression of AD from early stages to later stages is typically unpredictable. The ability to detect AD early and predict progression would allow physicians and patients to better plan treatments and long term care needs.
