Proposed Analysis: | Goal: Test they hypothesis that PTSD is associated with left/right asymmetry in FDG uptake. We get positive results in patients with traumatic brain injury (N=176), but only have 10 FDG controls (due to DoD restrictions on recruiting). We are hoping to find control data online that we can use to demonstrate symmetry in controls using the same processing we use now. |

Proposed Analysis: | Hypothesis: Left/right hemispheric asymmetry is associated with PTSD in patients with traumatic brain injury. We have demonstrated such an association in TBI patients (N=176) but only have 10 controls due to DoD restrictions on recruiting. We would like to download a set of FDG control data so we can demonstrate a lack of asymmetry in controls when we use our processing stream |
