| Proposed Analysis: | I propose to explore whether basic parameters of cardiovascular function can be predictive of progression to MCI and dementia. In particular, I'm interesting in exploring our hypothesis that a key cause of dementia is the increasing intensity of the pulse as arteries harden with age, so will be particularly interest in correlating measures of pulse pressure with risk of cognitive deficits. |
