Proposed Analysis: | We focus on developing computational and statistical methods for integrating multi-omics data, with applications to Alzheimer’s Disease. We propose to apply these methods to analyze the multi-omics data from the ADNI cohorts and several other single-omics data resources, for investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying AD. Specially, we will develop machine learning and informatics methods for identifying the causal genes and molecular for AD. We will also apply our methods to improve the accurate prediction of AD from the rich omics data. Our analyses are expected to provide important new insights into the phenotypic characteristics and genetic mechanisms of brain disorders to impact the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. |
