| Proposed Analysis: | Plasma amyloid could be a promising biomarker for Alzheimer's disease. We propose to analyse plasma amyloid data from 6 analysis platforms on samples from the same 130 participants in ADNI. We aim to: 1) investigate how well they correlate with each other; 2) estimate the correlation between the plasma amyloid results and CSF amyloid values of the same participants; and 3) assess how well they perform in discriminating CN from MCI and dementia and discriminating amyloid positive from negative (with CSF amyloid or PET as the criterion). |
