Proposed Analysis: | I am a project manager, currently working on collaboration with the Medical Informatics Platform (MIP) team to generate a new, federated network of datasets across Europe called NEURO Cohort. This activity falls within the remit of the NEURONET clinical support action project, which is tasked to promote neurodegenerative studies funded within the Innovative Medicines Initiative (https://www.imi-neuronet.org/). We are progressing with the pilot of this proposal. As part of the pilot, we are testing the technical capabilities of the MIP infrastructure as it reviews, anonymises and uploads NEURO Cohort data. To this end, we are requesting access to ADNI data to provide a training template for us to generate a synthetic, but authentic, test dataset. We are requesting access to ADNI data specifically, as it shares some significant variables and definitions with the NEURO Cohort data element. The values of the ADNI dataset will not be used or shared, but its metadata structure and data distribution will be used as a reference to generate a similar dataset using R. |
