Proposed Analysis: I am an anesthesiologist. Our research team has been focusing on the central mechanism of postoperative cognitive impairment. Postoperative cognitive impairment is a complication of the central nervous system after anesthesia surgery, which is manifested as mental disorder, anxiety, personality change and memory impairment. This change of social ability and cognitive ability and skills after surgery is called postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD). Others believe that POCD is the degradation of intellectual function characterized by decreased memory and concentration after anesthesia surgery. POCD and AD have similar clinical manifestations. We are also collecting the multimodal MRI data of POCD patients and comparing them with the imaging data of AD patients.
