Proposed Analysis: | Patients with amnestic moderate cognitive impairment (MCI), a stage in between cognitively normal aging and Alzheimer's disease(AD), are more likely to develop AD than those with age-matched healthy cognition. Early detection of AD by MCI screening is critical for optimal management and care methods, as well as the development of novel medications and ways to prevent future disease progression. The main objective here is - 1. Early detection for effective management of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and screening for mild cognitive impairment (MCI). 2. To proposed an approach based on an CNN network structure to automatically retrieve features from brain MRI data that can be used to differentiate subjects with clinical diagnosed AD and MCI from healthy cognition. The main objective of my research/project is to propose a machine learning algorithm for automated early detection of AD and t observe patterns of MRI brain changes that characterize AD and MCIc. |
