Proposed Analysis: Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease, the most common cause of dementia. Evidences have shown the effectiveness of aerobic exercise to prevent or delay the development of AD. The protective mechanisms of aerobic exercise on AD remain unknown. Also, the effect of aerobic exercise on patients with AD remains controversial. We are going to investigate whether moderate-intensity aerobic exercise can improve cognitive function of patients with AD and provide a reliable basis for the interventions of aerobic exercise in AD treatment.

Proposed Analysis: We plan to collect the information of the ADNI database to predict whether the cognitive function of patients with Alzhimer's disease is improved before follow-up through machine learning. Then we gradually reduce the variables of model, and finally select the most efficient model without significantly reducing the accuracy. By comparing with the actual results of follow-up, we evaluate the accuracy of the model, so as to guide the clinical treatment plan of patients in advance according to the predicted results.
